  • Each capsule contains 10mg Bilberry extract (100:1) equivalent to 1000mg of fresh Bilberry; 10mg of Eye Bright extract (4:1) equivalent to Euprasia Officinalis 40mg; 20mg of Xangold; 320mg of Natural Fish oil and encapsulating aids. No artificial flavourings, colourings or preservatives.

  • Q: What are bioflavonoids?
    A:     Bioflavonoids are the plant pigments that are responsible for giving flowers and fruits their distinctive colours. Bilberries contain high levels of anthocyanosides which are responsible for the deep blue pigment colour of Bilberry.

    Q: What is an antioxidant?
    A:     Antioxidants are naturally occurring nutrients that neutralise free radicals in the body which are responsible for tissue damage due to oxidative stress.

    Q: Why is eyesight so susceptible to oxidative stress?
    A:     Good eyesight is dependent on the health of a delicate tissue at the back of the eye called the retina. Blood flow to the retina is a vital source of nutrients, but the tiny capillaries in the retina are easily damaged by toxins, eye strain and poor health.

    Q:  How do the herbal ingredients help?
    A: The bioflavonoids in Bilberry are potent antioxidants. Xangold (Lutein) is derived from Marigold flowers, and contains carotenoids (also bioflavonoids) that nourish the retina. Eye Bright is an extract of the herb Euprasia Officinalis traditionally used to reduce eye irritation.

I have been using Bilberry Capsules for some time now and I feel there has been a positive improvement in my eyesight
Things are clearer, less eye strain and I do not have to always use my +1.00 glasses
I don’t think it has helped my dry eyes as others have noted
But overall I am very happy with the benefits
