Green Lipped Mussel Supplement for Pet Health

PurePets Green Lipped Mussel may help alleviate joint discomfort in both dogs and cats, with beneficial nutrients such as protein, amino acids and glycosaminoglycans (GAGs).  The supplement is suitable for dogs and cats of all sizes to help alleviate sore and inflamed joints.  The small capsules are easy to swallow, and capsule contents can be extracted and mixed in with your pet's food.  Unique to New Zealand, Green Lipped Mussel (Green Shell Mussel) has been part of the regular diet of the indigenous people, the Maori, and still today it is collected and consumed by New Zealanders. Green Lipped Mussel is an excellent source of nutrients including natural marine protein and Omega 3 fatty acids.

Deep Blue Health PurePets Green Lipped Mussel is sourced from licensed marine farms in the South Island of New Zealand and is rich in Glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), Omega 3 fatty acids and Marine Protein. Our Green Lipped Mussel is freeze-dried to preserve natural nutrients which provide support for the joints.

  • Each capsule contains 200mg of Green Lipped Mussel powder (5:1) equivalent to 1000mg of fresh Green Lipped Mussel and encapsulating materials. No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
  • 1-10kg give 1 capsule per day
    11-25kg give 2 capsules per day
    26-40kg give 3 capsules per day
    40+kg give 4 capsules per day
    Acute - give recommended dosage twice daily for 10 days then reduce to once daily or as required.

Works wonders

I've been using it for years the way it helps my dogs joints is amazing. I tried it when my shepherd had trouble with the stairs once he was on it no more issues. One of our little ones wasn't able to jump on the couch or bed, followed the instructions and in less than a week she was jumping back on them. I take a human version for my self.

Easy to eat small capsules

We've been using Green Lipped Mussel powder for 5 years now on our GSD. First time we've tried this brand, I like how small the capsules are, easy for my dog to eat without knowing they are in his food. Other brands we've had to open the capsules and sprinkle over his food. So far so good.

Won’t cure my dogs old legs but they definitely help put pep in his step

Early days since I bought these green lipped mussel pills but I believe my dog's symptoms with evening stiffness in his ear hips have reduced since he's been on these. Further he readily eats the pills on their own (which isn't true for other pills he has had in the past).
Prompt delivery and order renewal (with multiple intervals) both good too.

Love this Product

After a lot of research found Deep Blue Heath for myself and completely trust they truly have one of the best products out there for green lipped muscles. So when I read that green lipped muscles were a must have supplement for dogs I knew where to come to look and was delighted to find that Deep Blue Health carries a pet version. My border collie has not problems with joints and muscles but this is a great preventative. So happy to have found this wonderful company even is across the ocean from us.
